Your consent comes first.

Sharing does not start automatically when you download the app. You give explicit consent during onboarding. Participation is required for free VPN access, and you can opt out at any time.

What sharing means

Third-party network requests may pass through your connection and appear to come from your public IP address. The policy describes managed routing and controls intended to reduce misuse. It also says sharing does not give third parties access to your local files or personal content.

Your connection still has its own costs.

Sharing can use Wi-Fi, mobile or roaming data. Your internet provider’s charges are separate from free VPN access. Read the policy before participating on a metered connection.

Stopping participation
