Read a domain’s DNS records
Your browser sends the domain and record type directly to Google Public DNS. Google receives your IP and lookup. This checks Google’s answer, not which DNS resolver your device normally uses.
A records contain IPv4 addresses; AAAA records contain IPv6. MX directs email; NS identifies nameservers; TXT can contain verification and mail-policy information. Cached answers may differ temporarily after a record changes. Use the DNS leak test to investigate resolver exposure.
