To use Zenshield while in Iran, start with the Windows or Android app. To get an Iranian IP, you need an Iranian exit location: check the locations available in the app. We have not published verified Iranian VPN exits.

Zenshield is free because you share part of your internet connection with Geonode’s network. Its customers’ requests travel through your public IP.
Sharing is required for free access. You agree in the app before it starts.
Sharing does not give network customers remote access to your device, files, photos or messages.
Usage varies, with no fixed bandwidth cap. Data charges, battery and performance effects may apply.
To stop sharing, fully exit the app. Uninstalling also stops it. Disconnecting the VPN or minimizing the app may leave sharing running. Sharing may restart when the app opens again.

Zenshield does not charge a subscription. Free access requires opt-in bandwidth sharing, and your internet provider’s data charges still apply. App access and network rules can vary, so check the connection you intend to use.
Does Zenshield have VPN servers in Iran?
We have not confirmed which Zenshield server locations are available in Iran. Check the app’s available locations before depending on a local IP address.
Can I use it on an iPhone or Mac?
The available downloads are Windows and Android. We are not offering an iOS, macOS or Linux download here.
What happens after I download?
Install the app, sign in or create an account, then read the sharing terms during onboarding. Consent is required before participation. Use the Windows instructions or Android instructions for help.
Will a VPN give me free mobile data?
No. A VPN uses an existing internet connection. Downloading, VPN use and opt-in bandwidth sharing can use your data allowance. Check your plan before participating on mobile data or roaming.

Choosing a Windows VPN for use in Iran.
For a Windows laptop or desktop, start with the Zenshield Windows download and its compatibility guidance. The Android APK is for Android devices; it is not a Windows installer.
Check the connection before you depend on it
Save the Windows installation steps while you have access. After installation, check the app’s connection status and try the ordinary website you need. We have not verified Zenshield on every Iranian network, so this page does not promise that a connection will work on your provider. If it fails, record the network type and exact error for connection troubleshooting.
Need an Iranian IP from abroad?
That is a different requirement from using a VPN while in Iran. Zenshield has not published verified Iranian exit locations. Confirm the app’s current location choices before downloading for that purpose; a country page or a successful VPN connection does not establish an Iranian IP.
