DNS leak test

Run the appropriate check, then compare the result with the connection you intended to use.

Find the DNS resolvers handling your requests

Zenshield’s own DNS measurement service is not connected yet. A DNS test needs real resolver observations, so we cannot show a result here until that service is available.

Open DNSLeakTest.com ↗

The external service receives your public IP and observes the resolvers used for its test. Run it once before connecting your VPN, then again after connecting. A browser test may use different DNS settings from other apps.

How to read a result

Keep the same browser and network for both runs. Note your public IP with the VPN disconnected, connect in the VPN app, then repeat the test. Compare the observed addresses and operators with what your provider documents.

A different address is a clue to investigate. It is not, on its own, a security diagnosis. Browser DNS settings, IPv4 and IPv6, split tunnelling and other extensions can change the result.
