Check what Windows did with the download before attempting installation again. A missing file, an operating-system warning and an installer that opens then stops are different cases.

Work through the checks

  1. Use the current link from the official Windows download page. Wait for the browser to report the download as complete.
  2. Find the file in the browser’s download list and use its show-in-folder action if available. Avoid opening a similarly named older copy by mistake.
  3. Attempt to open the completed file once and record any Windows message exactly. Check whether the installer is already open behind another window.
  4. If an administrator manages the device, ask about installation permission. Do not use another account or bypass management controls to force installation.
  5. If the package opens but setup fails, note the last visible stage and the error. Send that information with your Windows version to support.

What you observe Next step
The file cannot be found Check the browser’s download status and destination.
Windows or security software displays a warning Stop and verify the package with support.
Installer opens, then exits with an error Report the exact stage and message.

Make the comparison useful

“The download completed, but Windows displayed a publisher warning when I opened it” is more actionable than “the download link is broken.” It also avoids retrying a network transfer when the issue occurs later.

Before changing more settings

Do not disable security software or repeatedly run the installer as administrator to remove an unexplained warning. Current minimum OS and architecture requirements should be confirmed with the team if compatibility is unclear.

Use the support-request template if you need to send the result. The reference guidance explains the underlying network or platform behavior; exact Zenshield controls depend on the installed app version.
